In addition, Westside Crest offers easy access to several parks including Peterson Park on the Lake, and Morraine Hills State Park. We are also immediately adjacent to McHenry County Conservation District, Prairie Trail.  The Prairie Trail stretches 25.9 miles from Algonquin to the Wisconsin State Line, connecting you to eight McHenry County Communities.  It is a great for biking, rollerblading, or just a quiet nature walk.
